What is MLM and how can it benefit me?

Glad you asked!  MLM, multi-level marketing, is simply a form of marketing that allows the average person, regardless of age, race, income level, work experience, or level of education, to have a business of their own marketing a given line of products or services provided by the MLM company. 

In traditional business a product is manufactured, sold to a distributor or wholesaler, resold to a retailer and purchased by the end user. 

In MLM, the product or service is usually purchased from a manufacturer, sold to an independent dealer and retailed to the end user, cutting out the wholesaler and retail outlet.  This allows the independent dealer to make a retail profit.  The other form of income, and usually the largest, is the income derived from recruiting and training a team of dealers to market the products with you, thereby earning a % of the business volume your team produces. 

Imagine that you owned a great pizza restaurant.  You decide that you can make more money if you opened a second location, but after a while, the headache of running two restaurants is too much.  You decide to sell franchises of your pizza restaurant and earn 15% of all the business volume the restaurants produce, without the day-to-day headaches of running the business.  That business concept is similar to building a team of dealers.  The MLM company allows you "sell franchises" when you recruit dealers - and then you earn money based on their success. 

There are many huge benefits of choosing to build an MLM business:

• Usually low investment to get started (from $250 - $2,500 as apposed to 50,000 to 250,000 in a traditional business)

• Ability to work from home office

• Freedom of working when you want to work
